One of the reasons I started this blog is because of the sheer amount of reading I'm doing for a directed study with my anthro advisor. I get to spend an hour or more each week going over journal articles and texts with my advisor, which has been great for solidifying my anthro theory and abstracting skills. With the assistance of Dr Cordain's recommended reading, my advisor let me loose to read and abstract articles as I see fit, offering her guidance to make sure I don't stray too far into the "Lose weight by eating this" tangent.
Moving beyond Cordain's reading list and searching the web, I found
Paleoanthropologist John Hawks. Professor Hawks maintains an impressive weblog that also houses a gargantuan annotated bibliography. In perusing his library of articles (which I am very grateful for), I realized there could be value in a similar clearinghouse of articles pertaining to paleo nutrition. Thus, I will be posting links to articles I have read for this directed study, and if I feel up to it, my abstracts as well.
